Sources processed (new packets)

Packet Files Nature
2026-06-14-internal-grant-reports-2020-presetn 4 PDFs (FY21-22 → FY24-25) ORS internal grant (URC/QIC/PSC) "Innovation That Matters" reports
2026-06-14-paid-leave-reports-2022-2025 4 PDFs (2022 → 2025) URC/QIC Paid Leave Program reports
2026-06-14-undergradaute-research-assistantship-program-urap-2022-2025 4 PDFs (FY21-22 → 2025) Undergraduate Research Assistant Program (URAP) reports

Not processed (no substantive new source material): 2026-06-13-grice-lab-pilot/ and 2026-06-13-kyle-grice-faculty-profile/ (empty uploads), and the loose sources/Summary of DPU-RFU Awarded Projects 2026.pdf (misfiled — recommend moving into a packet).

Key finding

All three are aggregate, narrative ORS program reports — statistics by college, qualitative highlights, and appendix questions. They contain no itemized awardee listings (no PI name + project title + amount rows). Under repository-wide governance the correct outcome is therefore not bulk grant ingestion (which would also duplicate the URC/QIC/PSC intramural awards already captured from the ORS annual reports), but leadership/program evidence + candidate preservation.

Evidence-backed updates (applied, staged)

  • People — new entity: PER-118 Lauren K. Miller (ORS Chief of Staff / Director of Research & Innovation Strategies), administrator association to UNI-001, evidence = report cover pages. Email not published → email: null.
  • People — enrichment: PER-015 Daniela Raicu note records that, as Associate Provost for Research, she chairs URC/QIC/PSC.
  • Facility/service page UNI-001 (ORS): Description & capabilities now documents the internal funding portfolio (URC, QIC, PSC councils; URC/QIC paid-leave programs; URAP; AGIF) with aggregate scale (AY2023–2024: 92 awards / $463,066; FY2024 URAP: 122 units / $144,570; 40 paid-leave reports). Notes record provenance and reciprocity to PER-015/PER-118.
  • data/resource_verification.yaml: UNI-001 evidence bullet + last_verified 2026-06-14.

Candidates preserved (no entities created)

Repository registry data/review/resource_candidates.yaml: RC-014 URC · RC-015 QIC · RC-016 PSC · RC-017 URC/QIC Paid Leave Programs · RC-018 URAP · RC-019 internal research-funding administration (capability). Relationship registry data/review/relationship_candidates.yaml: REL-008 Miller→ORS (applied) · REL-009 Raicu→councils (applied as note) · REL-010 ORS→internal programs (preserved only — no edge). Each packet's extracted/candidates.yaml holds the auto-extracted discoveries (Phase 2 pipeline), including low-confidence parse artifacts kept for review rather than discarded.

Claims rejected

  • Per-grant records from these reports — aggregate tables only; itemizing would invent data and duplicate ORS-annual-report intramural awards.
  • URAP project-title → course/facility edges — sample titles are illustrative and unattributed.
  • Faculty → paid-leave edges — no itemized faculty listings.

Reciprocity / hypertext

No new typed resource→resource edges: the candidate programs (URC/QIC/PSC/URAP) have no resource pages, so an administers edge would dangle. Person→office reciprocity is captured in people.yaml (PER-015, PER-118 ↔ UNI-001). Reciprocal-link automation remains Phase 3.

Validation

  • pytest — see run log (all green).
  • ./sync_docs.sh + mkdocs build --strict — clean.

Risks / ambiguities

  • Whether DePaul's internal funding councils (URC/QIC/PSC) and URAP should become first-class program resource pages is a governance decision left to the maintainer (candidates RC-014..018).
  • Miller's contact email is unverified pending an ORS staff-page capture.
