Catalog citations (generalized pilot)

Status: Generalized beyond the Grice/Karver/Southern pilot.

What runs

.venv/bin/python scripts/apply_citations.py

Wired into ./sync_docs.sh after apply_people.py.

What it writes

  1. Facility pages (CDM/CSH/ART/EXT/UNI/TTS/MUS/COM) that appear in publication_resource_links.yaml get a regenerated block:

  2. Publications (documented vs supporting)

  3. Related facilities (only via shared include_in_graph publications)
  4. People on those publications

  5. Sources with comma-grouped markers (1,4)

  6. Publication landing pages at resources/PUB/PUB-*.md for every publication that has a person or resource link (~900 pages).

  7. Persists the pilot’s PUB-014 ↔ CSH-016/CSH-017 collaboration rows into YAML (include_in_graph: false) so they are not hard-coded.

Person pages link to those PUB landings via generate_people_catalog.py.

Legacy citation-pilot markers are stripped on rewrite.

Rules

  • No invented facility↔facility edges
  • Supporting / method-alignment links stay labeled and out of “related facilities”
  • Internal grants stay off public facility citation blocks
  • Catalog Standard view chrome applies (see portal-header.mjs)
