Summary đź”´ âś“

  • Owner Unit: College of Science and Health
  • Sub-unit: Department of Rehabilitative Sciences and Professions — Occupational Therapy (MSOT)
  • Content Type: laboratory
  • Campus/Location: Lincoln Park (Sheffield — address variants 2400 N / 2250 N Sheffield)

Description & capabilities

DePaul’s MSOT program uses a single Sheffield learning-space complex with named subspaces: a furnished family apartment (including a Hoyer lift for transfer training), a motor gym for sensory-motor learning (swings, climbing, obstacle courses), and flexible classrooms with wall plinths/therapy tables. The spaces sit alongside Speech-Language Pathology. Learning methods include simulations, standardized patients, and Simucase, plus Level I/II fieldwork coordinated by the Academic Fieldwork Coordinator.

People & contacts

Named contacts from the people registry when publicly documented.

Documented Relationships

Program learning spaces for MSOT. Fieldwork/community partners named at launch are preserved as candidates except promoted clinical partners such as EXT-022 Shirley Ryan AbilityLab. Related Nursing clinical simulation: CSH-022. Neighboring SLP training clinic (same Sheffield complex, distinct inventory): CSH-025. Related measurement adjacency: UNI-015 BETA Hub. Related assistive-robotics / user-testing adjacency (not a documented collaboration): CDM-006 RAL.

Linked Relationship IDs

Notes

Apartment, motor gym, and classrooms are subspaces of one facility resource, not separate resource IDs. News cites 2400 N. Sheffield; handbook cites 2250 N. Sheffield / Suite 105 — record both as address variants.
